About

I’ve always been fascinated by how the world works. Thinking that money made the world go ’round, I did an undergraduate degree in Economics. Wanting to further my analytical skills, I did further studies in journalism.

This led to jobs at creative agencies, trade magazines, and a major newspaper. I independently reported about the US government’s secret FISA courts months before Edward Snowden blew the whistle on this news.

Whether it’s politics, culture, or technology, I love learning and writing about new things. As a freelancer, I’ve worked as an industry analyst and created editorial content for companies such as HP, Intel, Lenovo, and Bell Canada.

In 2015, I was working from home and finding that I missed being surrounded by creative people on a daily basis.

I opened a shared office in Toronto called Lab T.O. Coworking in January 2016, which has since become an amazing community and a constant source of inspiration and motivation.

I’ve become increasingly interested in furthering my abilities to work with numbers. I took a Data Science bootcamp, which let me add things like Python programming and big data analysis into my skill set.

The world never ceases to fascinate me, and I’m continuing to work on writing and media projects that I find interesting.

Please feel free to drop me a line if you want to work together!
